Barrels: 35% New French, 41% Used French, 24% New American and Eastern European Oak

The color is reminiscent of a beautiful dark plum garnet.  On the nose, your senses awaken with the aromas of dark chocolate, blackberries and vanilla beans.  The first sip envelopes your mouth in silky velvet, with flavors of bittersweet chocolate, spices and black pepper combined with a touch of dark cherries.  The harmony between the acid and tannins is like a symphony, with the extended and focused mouth feel the resonating last note played.

Our 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley is luscious and satisfying from start to finish.  It shows the fine art of blending many flavors from different terroirs to achieve great complexity and depth of flavors.  The nose delivers elegant oak and dark spice with hints of violets and coco beans.  In the mouth, black cherry and blackberry flavors are framed by a firm structure.  Well rounded tannins and a nice acidity contribute to a long, enduring finish.  our 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon has a great aging ability.

2002 Syrah, Columbia Valley
Composition: 100% Syrah
Vineyards: Clifton Hill, Boushey, and Les Collines

Barrels: 50% New French, 7% New East European, 43% Used French

Here is a wine that makes you say "Wow"!  As you fill your glass, you immediately notice the incredible inky red violet color followed by beautiful dark aromas of black cherries and clove spice on the nose.  The mouth feel shows bright cherry flavors with a richness that seems to coat your palate in velvet.  This wine is definitely one you will want to keep extra of in your cellar to enjoy over the next several years.

Our first vineyard designated wine, from Alder Ridge Vineyard. This Zinfandel is a classic version of red Zinfandel, bursting with juicy fruity aromas on the nose and so much more in the palate . . . smooth, sweet flavors of bright cherries and spicy oak mingle with toasty nuances to create a beautiful, full-bodied wine to be enjoyed with spirited friends.
