Our 2005 vintage of Zinfandel is a combination of three distinct vineyard sites, each chosen for the unique flavors and aromas they bring to the wine. Alder Ridge Vineyard is in the Horse Heaven Hills along the Columbia River. This wonderful site brings rich cherry jam characteristics to the wine. Clifton Vineyard is on the Wahluke Slope near Mattawa. A warmer site brings rich chosen for the white pepper and spice qualities in the fruit. The third vineyard is Les Collines in the Walla Walla Valley which adds bold flavors and perfume to the blend.

One look at the amazing dark plum color in your glass and you will know this is going to be exquisite. The aromas are intense with licorice, blackberries, cloves and white pepper. In the mouth, cherry compote and blueberry notes are followed by a long spicy finish. Our Zinfandel is a huge favorite among those in the know and we always sell out early every year so don't wait too long to stock your cellar!

Food is such an important part of enjoying a good glass of wine. Try our 2005 Zinfandel with  a pepper crusted pork loin with roasted root vegetables or a hearty pork cassoulet. Be sure to have an extra bottle of this Zinfandel on hand. You won't want to run out of wine before you run out of food!
