2009 Marsanne
We are thrilled to release our first ever varietal Marsanne. The fruit comes from the Boushey vineyard, one of our favorites. There were only three barrels produced, so it will not be around for long. The juice was fermented over a three week period and kept cold to maintain freshness.
The 2009 Marsanne is a white wine to be reckoned with. On the nose it presents with lush tropical aromas full of coconut and pineapple as well as a little mineral. The mouth is full and rich without being heavy. The Marsanne brings to mind a walk through the Provence countryside with a picnic basket full of bread, cheese and fresh pears. Enjoy!
