Blacksmith 2009 Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir may be the toughest grape to grow, but the effort is often well worth the constant care and investment. It is a fickle grape that demands optimum growing conditions, opting for warm days consistently supported by cool evenings. The Pinot grape is a little lighter in style, with aromas of strawberries and plums. Luscious red berries, spice and great acidity make this a perfect food wine. Try with grilled salmon, pork loin with fresh herbs or a hearty cassoulet.
