Forgeron Cellars Food Drive to Aid Northshore Senior Center
Giving Thanks and Giving to Others, Helping the Local Community

During the month of November, Forgeron Cellars is hosting a food drive to benefit the Northshore Senior Center at their Woodinville Tasting Room location.

The Northshore Senior Center is just a few minutes away from Forgeron’s location in Woodinville, and serves not only the senior citizens at the center, but all of the surrounding community. Any person in need may go to the center for food items to help feed their hungry families. As there has been an enormous increase of persons and families in need this year, the pantry has experienced a major shortage of almost all types of food items. Forgeron Cellars would like to do their part in increasing awareness of the center, and help get their pantry shelves stocked full in time for the holidays.

As added incentive to bring in and drop-off needed food items, Forgeron Cellars is offering any guest who donates $5.00 off a wine purchase, glass pour of select Forgeron Cellars wine, or gourmet charcuterie plate.

The food drive runs all month, and guests are welcome to come back with donated items as often as desired to help the local community.

“They have an incredibly dedicated staff who have themselves endured much hardship, especially during the pandemic, but have held strong and continue to serve with generous hearts. They are not daunted by the current shortage as they have faith that the community and partners will come through for them and enable the center to provide throughout the holiday season. Their spirit of resilience and giving is inspiring, and we know we can help make a difference.”

Vickie has had the chance to work with the Northshore Senior Center over the last several years and has become committed to aiding their mission to support those in need in the local community. The Northshore Senior Center is not only an important resource for senior citizens, but also a resource to help anyone in need.
